At Echo POS, we have the ideal reseller recruitment program for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) interested in adding new reseller partners or Value Added Resellers (VARs) that are looking to represent new software applications. The program is specifically designed to help ISVs that are interested in recruiting resellers in the United States and is absolutely free to participate for either the software developer or the reseller.
To introduce ISVs and VARs, we have designed a variety of marketing tools to reach out to channel partners in various ways. Our reseller recruitment tools include:
Data Mining / Targeted Reseller Recruitment: Through our CRM system, we are able to provide not only basic contact information for our reseller partners but also identify what hardware, software, and services they offer. Because of this, we are able to search our database to identify channel customers and prospects based on factors such as existing software/hardware the VAR may resell, cash register that the VAR resells, vertical market served, geography/territory coverage, and annual sales volume.
We focus on channel partners whose core business is point of sale, barcode/RFID, or card technology and our database reflects that. We do not have general computing or IT/networking resellers in our database. Many of the VARs in our database are currently selling software applications but are regularly looking to establish new partnerships with ISVs to augment their existing solutions offerings. Several software developers use our data mining services to build out their existing channel base in certain geo-targeted areas in which they need representation.
End User Lead Program: Our end user lead generation program is open to ISVs that are interested in utilizing our qualified end user leads to recruit new resellers. For ISVs interested in expanding their channel base, this is a great strategy.
